This is a first rate, high quality, well funded aquarium, as you would expect for this kind of facility in its location. Very well laid out, lots of really cool exhibits, and interesting for all ages. My wife and kids visited this place as part of our trip to the Oregon Coast. We had visited it before about 10 years... Went during a shipwrecks exhibit on a Sunday around 1030am and it wasn't busy. We were able to clearly see a sea lion feeding, without the viewpoints being too full. Lots to see at this aquarium, and lots of areas to explore! Come on a sunny day and enjoy all of the outside pathways and aviary. Loved the puffins! Only... More

It was an average aquarium with the exception of the walk through part. that was pretty cool but so not worth the $23 per person! the woman at the counter assured me it was well worth the money and said the price is good for all day. We saw it all in less than an hour! I just don't know... More

This was our second time coming here, and we really enjoyed it. We arrived at about 10:30 and we got to see the handler feed the octopus, which was amazing. The shark tunnel is always a hit, and we got to see the sharks being fed too. So lucky! We very much enjoyed the shipwreck exhibit. It is really informative... More

We were looking for something to do on a chilly afternoon and the aquarium fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of fish exhibits and wildlife displays - kids were very happy during our 3-hour stay. Not overly crowded - we were able to view everything at a leisurely pace, and got plenty of great picture sin the process. There is a... More

One cool thing about this aquarium is how it is situated on the tidal flats. You can spend time outside looking at wildlife and nature that is not officially part of the aquarium...the inside is pretty cool with newer exhibits--the sea otters, seals, and sea lions are not just in big tanks. You can get very close to them. There... More

Our boys (11,13 &15) love marine life and while we did enjoy the aquarium, the hatfield marine science center was more engaging for them and way cheaper (by donation). We did enjoy the shipwreck exhibit and loved the pelican talk, but for $85 (which was with a coupon for 4 adults for $69) would have rather donated more at hatfield... More

The last time I visited I was a teenager and Keiko was being prepped to leave. I brought my husband this time (over a decade later) and he loved it. We spent over two hours looking at every outside and indoor exhibit. We were able to watch the sea otter feeding and they staff were quite informative. Some will complain... More

This was the #1 place on my list to visit with my 12yr old son. We were so very excited, but terribly let down. For almost $38, we were able to visit 6 of 7 exhibits, since the aviary was closed, take pics, wander gift shop, and were done in less than an hour. If it wasn't for the off... More
