This working port is constantly fighting tourists versus it's fishing business in an extremely confined area. 18-wheel trucks regularly block traffic as they try to squeeze into undersized spaces after multiple adjustments. Parking in general is a challenge.

There are a ton of fun shops located in this area! We had a blast wandering through them! You can also watch the sea lions off the docks! My favorite part of the whole area! Worth a visit for sure!

What is a trip to Newport without a stop at the Historic Bayfront. Still has working commercial and charter fishing operations, the Original Moe's, and a wide variety of shops.

Beautiful area. Great food & shops! Local Ocean Seafood has great views. The calamari with roasted fennel and their Crab Po-boy sandwich is insane 😉
