This is an excellent beach. It has easy access near the Performing Arts Center and Elizabeth Street Inn. There is an enclosed round room with glass from floor to ceiling. A great place to get out of the weather and look for whales though I...More

It's a good walk to get to the beach. But so worth it. The cleanest beach. You can walk for miles. There are seats going down so if you get tired, you can sit. Some people take chairs. We just sit on rocks or logs.

We were able to watch the whales from this point and on our last day we scored the one bench that sits out towards the ledge! Great views!!

A very pleasant park with tributes to veterans and a long ramp to the huge beach. It's very close to several inns in the Nye Beach area.

This park has a moving monument of the 24 Veterans that have lost their life in battle. We loved walking the path with the large stone memorials and seeing the ocean from that vantage point.

This is a very nice place to meet some locals who know a lot about whale migration, the area in general, and who are simply nice folks with whom to visit. It's also great for just ocean watching and learning a bit about the history...More

This view is spectacular. The paved walk to down to the beach is gently sloped & has a great view up the coast on the way down. Sit on the rock wall near the gazebo for great photo ops of the beach, up & down...More
