I really don't want to be a whiner, but the proprietor yakked almost nonstop for an hour about his past achievements in food science, his cleverness in naming his winery, and his personally bringing culture to this area. This was one stop on a wine tasting day with my parents and kids which was really fun, this was not our favorite place.

The wife and I stopped here with the kids on our way to Portland. It's a small winery, family owned. They were great with our kids, who have absolutely no interest in us stopping to taste wine. A small jewel of a winery located in Oregon's Umpqua Valley. A wonderful place to visit. The two essential ingredients for an enjoyable visit to a winery are an excellent choice of wines and wonderful hosts. MarshAnne Landing has both in spades!
