Winter weather and we found ourselves the only 2 visitors to the museum in February, 2017. Several feet of snow made the Japanese Garden inaccessible, but we could appreciate its tiny, sheltered presence off the main hallway. Exhibits were informative and well formulated chronologically. There is a display of gifts and information regarding Ontario's sister cities. My guest, fluent in... More

This is a great museum. The staff greets you then guides you down to a small theater where you watch a short film about the area. Then you get to walk through the museum. This is a very nice sized museum, with a lot of info on the Japanese and the internment camps. There is also a nice garden area... More

Not many museums would include displays and information on some not so proud moments in US History like the internment of the Japanese in the US. Other history is covered as well as information on the Latino population. Very informative and suitable for ages elementary on up. Allow at least one hour.

This arts center was incredibly busy and very well done. When I visited, they had a huge bridge tournament, an antique car show, and a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History & Culture! The director took time to talk to me and he was very gracious. He even gave me a tour through the very... More

It's a nice place and is more accommodating than fruitland school gym lol. The seating is comfortable and the temperature is always set to be comfortable as well...not too hot, not too cold the restrooms were clean. I would like to attend another type of event there sometime. My boys and their dad did go to see some of the... More

The Cultural Center and Museum is a must see if you're driving through on Interstate 84 or on your way to the Baker City Interpretive Center. The museum has artifacts and life-size exhibits representing the cultures that have influenced the area. There is a large Japanese exhibit, and local residents have been very generous in contributing to the museum. A... More

nicely "done" museum. They are trying to incorporate all the cultures of the area...promise Hawaiian influence soon! Dioramas of history of the area are spot on! Staff pleasant but could use more knowledge. Staff/volunteers very busy, place spotless. Thank you for providing a lovely museum setting. Don't miss the Japanese garden allow 2 hours

Unexpected surprise, we were very impressed with this museum, very educational about the heritage of the Four Rivers area, and the price of admission was very reasonable. If you are in Ontario do not miss seeing this museum.
