This Peter Jacobsen designed golf course is one of the best in the Portland area. Challenging, in great condition and affordable. The course is particularly playable when it's wet outside -- good drainage. It also has a very good practice facility -- range, chipping and pitching greens with sand traps as well as a large putting green.

Played Chamber's Bay on Wednesday (course was is terrible condition) and Stone Creek the next day. What a difference! Stone Creek was in the best shape I have ever seen. The fairways were lush, yet mowed short for good roll. The greens are in fantastic shape, with only a few un-repaired divots. Coupled with the senior discount rate, why would... More

This is the course to come out with the whole family. The course is beautiful, it is used by all ages, and it has a real grass driving range. The entire course has a walking trail circling the course.

DO NOT play this course if it has rained the previous day! Either that or play forward 2 sets of tees. The drives plug in the fairways every time. Some holes aren't actually playable (It's in a hollow valley). One hole on the back isn't playable by any real golfer (I'm a 7 hdcp). You will know it when you... More

Differrent tee's are suggested for you length of drive so its a good test for all even if you don't drive 300 yrds with a low handicap. Excellent layout.

My husband and I are retirees who play Stone Creek at least weekly. We were dumbfounded by the recent negative review (this response is totally unsolicited). I feel qualified to evaluate this course since our grandsons attend Junior Golf Camp there each summer, my husband holds his High School Reunion golf tournament there annually, and we take lessons from the... I would recommend you think twice if going to play golf at this course. The staff is very unhelpful and rude. They are not the only course in town but they seem to act like they are better then everyone else. From the moment we made our reservation to the interaction with the beverage cart lady, we felt like we... More

My husband golfs and I walk the wonderful, scenic path around the course. Many lovely homes surrounding the course and it is an easy walk.

A great combination of a beautifully scenic layout which is challenging but fair and excellent value.I played before 7: 30 and got a great deal. Eighteen holes plus push cart was twenty four dollars. This was a senior price. I have played golf for almost 60 years and this ranks in the top five I have ever played. A must... More
