The campground has beautifully designed and maintained facilities. There is some traffic noise from US hwy 101, which is 100-200 yards from most campsites. No WiFi. Some decent Verizon LTE signal at the far end. Otherwise, very minimal Verizon signal.

We hiked up and back down - 3 miles each way - and enjoyed the hike a lot. There were several benches along the way, which is good, because we are in our 70's. Elevation climb is about 1,750'.

We were really glad we stopped at the Humbug Mountain State Park. It was a great viewpoint. Loved the evening sun on an otherwise mostly rainy Spring Break. Again, not a bad viewpoint on the Oregon Coast.

Nice park, beautiful beach. No people in mid March. Good place for beachcombing, hiking, and just plain enjoying nature. Did not see any evidence of vandalism, but in today's world, be sure to not leave any valuables in your car while hiking in remote areas.

I love a good vertical hike for exercise and we stopped on a recent road trip (couple with a baby in a carrier). Parking is in an unserviced lot but the trail is easy to follow and you will get a great workout and a decent (not excellent) view at the top. Plan this stop in advance as you may... More

This state park is beautiful and great for camping or just exploring the many trails and beaches. The campground is quaint and very well maintained. Facilities are immaculate. Fees are very reasonable. It is the quitest campground we have ever stayed at. Granted it was late fall in Oregon. The sky was covered with stars.

My brothers and I hiked Humbug Mountain and had a blast. The views were great as you ascended the mountain. It was a great hike for us as it had some steeper parts of the trail but nothing we couldn't handle even if we had to take a break. Be sure to stop along the trail and enjoy the scenery.... More

In the East, where we are from, we sure don't have mountains that touch the sea. For anyone who hasn't ever experienced this- Humbug Mountain State Park is the place to make first contact. The views are incredible up and down the coast- especially on a cool cloudless day as we happened upon the site. It is something incredible to... More

This is a nice park, a little close to the road, but nice camp sites and good access to a nice stretch of beach
