A grocer from San Francisco opened a store on NW 23rd over a hundred years ago and named it after the uppercrust S.F. neighborhood.

We usually stay DT but decided to stay NW to save on Hotel. Easy to walk and find what you feel like. Still easy to get DT from here.

We've visited Northwest Portland many times and always enjoy the vibe. Plus, there's a Salt & Straw, so what's not to love? Parking can be a bit tricky, but to be honest, parking off street in one of the neighborhoods and walking through all the...More

Nob Hill has found a way to stay true to its roots while being a go-to place for shopping, eating and entertainment. It is highly walkable and very enjoyable.

We love the MW corner, Inn at Northrup Station, great food choices, good walking, streetcar. Portland has a number of great areas but this is one of most interesting...of course walk up the hill and see the amazing houses, the reason it's called Nob Hill.

Can't beat the great shopping, restaurants and vibe of this iconic neighborhood. Great to walk both 21 and 23rd streets, grab a coffee or a beer or stop in for a slice from Escape from NY pizza and just enjoy the people watching.
