Great place to visit in the summer. Get your walk on or have a picnic with friends. Park also runs into the Washington Park Zoo.

Peaceful place to enjoy a stroll with your significant other. The Japanese Garden and the Portland Rose Gardens are a must see. Avoid the huge crowds and go during the week.

This is a beautiful and serene garden. Even with the major renovation under way it was still very much worth the visit. The vegetation is mature and immaculately cared for. The setting is near perfect and you come away rejuvenated.

Washington Park is a great place for walks or short hikes. The Arboretum has an amazing variety of plants and trees. You even have the chance to see some wildlife. and on a nice day, you can catch a view of Portland and the surrounding mountains.

This park is so beautiful -- it's set in a gorgeous neighborhood in Portland's west hills. You can get in a great walk up and down hills, and stop at the rose gardens or head over to the Japanese Gardens. I run on the trails and in the nearby neighborhoods, which are gorgeous and have the best views of Portland.... More

Seems like millions of brightly colored lights in endless displays of birds and animals. Holiday themed arches, bridges and the train were all beautiful. Live elephant exhibit was fun. Best holiday light tour I have seen.

This is a woodland in the city. It has beautiful canopied trails, and Audobon Center and is close to the Japanese Gardens. This is a place of peace and beauty that feels like a northern rain forest. Owls and other birds can be seen in the winding trails. Truly a great getaway close in.
