Spend the day

This park encompasses the best sites of Portland--the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, Arboretum and Zoo. We spent most of the day enjoying the sites.

This looks like the flagship park for portland since it contains the zoo, arboretum, a couple of gardens and a vietnam memorial. The park is easy to access via public transportation and there is a free shuttle that will take you to various parts. Some of the attractions require a fee like the zoo and some are free like the... It was a nice park for a picnic and relaxing ، but it was not what l expected.I took my camera to take some good shots ، but i believe i can find a better park to explore the beauty of its view than this park. I don't think that i will visit it again.

...and by getting the free shuttle around the park, especially between the zoo and the Japanese Gardens, you get the chance to see some stunning real estate. Jaw-dropping houses and gardens....

If you visit before June you can park for the day for $6.40. There is a free shuttle that goes around the park every 15 minutes. There are several trails to walk throughout the park as well as a zoo, rose garden, Japanese garden, children's museum, etc. you could spend the day easily here at the park.

Yes indeed, walking through some parts of this park feels more like walking in a pine forest, rather than in a park. Though it is beautifully groomed and has some huge trees. I

We took a taxi up the hill to Washington Park and went to the Rose Garden. The roses were not in bloom yet, but it was a beautiful setting. We sat and looked out at Mount Hood. It was a very relaxing couple of hours. There is currently a lot of construction going on in the Rose Garden to rebuild... More

We started our tour of the gardens at the bottom and made our way to the top up a well defined path. A fair climb but it's worth it, we walked down by a different path, you could taxi etc. to the top and just wander down. The trees were magnificent and spring had truly arrived. Highlight included the experimental... More
