Pub food with great beer

Decent pub food with great choice of beer. There are a choice of areas to eat in. We went when there was a basketball game on so it was busy with heaps of atmosphere.

We always enjoy the food and the selection of excellent beers and ales produced by Bridgeport. We also enjoy the casual friendly atmosphere. On this visit, the service was very slow, with the server disappearing periodically and certainly not being attentive.

Having been to the Brewpub eons ago i was anxious to see if it still measured up. It does indeed. Located in an old warehouse with an industrial vibe the pizza and beer are still tops. Great selection of interesting ales and reasonably priced pizza to go with the ales. Worth thee walk !

We walked from our hotel for late lunch. It was not busy and the service was prompt and friendly. We had the fresh made pizza with veggies and house cured bacon and was crisp and delicious. They have a good selection of house and seasonal brews. Interesting that the restrooms are located on 2nd floor.

One of Portlands earliest brew pubs, the Bridgeport is inviting, clean, and easy to access. the food is diverse and very tasty. Be sure to try the sweet potato fries!! Lots of great brews. The staff is friendly, knowlegable, and attentive.

First, the good. Expansive menu, decent beer lots of seating. Now, the bad. Service was seriously mixed. We had a large group but had made reservations in advance so it was not an ambush. When we got the waitresses attention food and beverages came fast. Getting a beer seemed to take a major effort for most at our table. We... More

WE haven't been to Bridgeport in years. I remember the Old Bridgeport, before the remodel.... Homey, simple good food and great beer. Then, they remodeled and it became.... uh... Industrial Chic? Beer was still good and food became more diverse. So.... what happened? Well...Karl Ockert. Bridgeport's original and award winning Brewer, left for greener pastures. Something about CORPORATE pressures and... More

If you are looking for a high energy place where you have to shout to hear each other, this is the place for you. Food was decent, nothing special but the the beer (I tried a Pilsner) very good. The staff was VERY ACCOMMODATING and got us extra tables for the additional guests that just showed up.

Great impromptu place for a bite to eat and enjoy a local brew with friends and/or family. The food was very good along with great service! Also if one of you is more into wine, you will be pleasantly surprised by the good wine menu. Many local wines (of course Pinot Noir) for a very reasonable price. My go-to place... More

Visited late one night after hiking on Mt. Hood. Burger big enough for my wife and to split. Good beer too.
