This is a must see! It is beautiful inside and out, And what an amazing view from it's perch above Portland. The rooms are all full of period furnishings and they are very well decorated. My favorite part is that the family was interested in...More

The Pittock Mansion is fine example of restoration and attention to detail. Pieces of the Pittock collection that are missing are filled with other period pieces to give you a sense of time. As you progress through, a real sense of appreciation is developed for...More

It was reasonably interesting for me. I guess it kind of depends on if you're in the mood for touring an old mansion. I wished there were photos of the building process and more of a focus on that (like, how did they get all...More

Easy to find with signs guiding you to the top whether you hike or drive it. I especially like the fun/random facts along the side driving to the top. Nice sized parking lot with an additional lot for busier times. I unfortunately did not go...More

Mansion has a great view of the city. It was very rainy and foggy but still had a nice view of Portland. The mansion it self was something I don't need to do again. I have better ideas for eleven dollars which is the admission...More

I dragged my teenager who ended up enjoying this historical mansion. It doesn’t take a lot of time and the view is gorgeous. It’s right by a trail so the locals blast around the curvy roads, but manageable for us tourists. I enjoyed this much...More

I actually hiked from the center of town to this beautiful mansion -- if you're really fit, it is a fun traverse of varied parts of the city. The mansion offered a fascinating peek at the luxuries of 100 years ago and is beautifully laid...More

Since the public parks and trails around Pittock are free, I would recommend having morning picnics to watch the sunrise on weekends. This will help ensure that you have a space to enjoy the views, and the amazing sunrise over Mount Hood. I would recommend...More

We were on a tour and stopped for about 45 minutes. For me it was not enough time and I had to rush through certain rooms in the house.
