I lived nearby, twenty years ago, and was able to revisit on May 5. The garden has made many bridge, bench, and pathway improvements over the years and maintenance has, if anything, improved, a big accomplishment for a volunteer organization. I visited on May 4,...More

I visited the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens in early May. The place is beautiful, colorful and very peaceful despite the large number of visitors. I spent several hours just sitting and wandering, and would be happy to do it all again.

This is a spectacular garden! Much larger than anticipated. The variety of colors is great. Definately worth a visit. Parking lots were full so we parked about 3 blocks away which was fine. Early May so things in bloom.

We visited the beginning of May and everything was in full bloom. This place is astonishing beautiful. The landscaping, the pond and geese, artist and their easels painting the beauty.Perfection. We visited on a Monday and it was free admission. Parking is very limited.

Loved walking through the gardens this morning seeing true spring in bloom. Along with baby ducks and geese. Wonderful to see little ones eyes as they learn new things and experience the wonder of nature.

There is also no admission charged prior to 10AM, if you can get them there early enough, or after 6PM. The park itself is open dawn to dusk. So you still have an opportunity on Fridays.
