It is always fun too see animals, even more when they are happy! The animals seem so happy and peaceful and they love being looked at! U should take anyone any age!

Got lucky and planned trip on Second Tuesday when admission is only $5. Went on a cold rainy day and still had a wonderful time. Zoo employees are very helpful and informative. Many animals were hiding due to the rain, but the grounds were beautiful...More

This is a nice zoo with some outstanding displays including the new improved elephant structure but is an expensive event for a family or couple and very chilly in the colder months and hot in the occasional warm weather! Requires a lot of hiking uphill...More

The Oregon Zoo in itself is worth a trip to Portland. Love this place. There are so many different animals. I would suggest going in the spring/summer when more of the animals are out. Gift shop is expansive with a nice selection

Beautiful night, clear and cold. Very crowded, but expected. Enjoyed the lights but would like to see more lights.

The zoo is fun any time of year. It is less crowded on rainy weekday days, so that is sometimes the best time to go. Zoolights are great, but the parking lot fills up quickly. Go around 3:30-4:00 to get a good spot. They have...More

Spent a chilly December Sunday morning at the zoo. The nicest thing about the zoo is it's accessibilty by MAX rail. It's a great attraction and very well kept. plenty of open spaces and well maintained areas.

Nice park and zoo. A great treat for kids. Our visit was marred by very heavy and continuous rain and thus had to cut short the visit.

First time we attended Zoo lights and really enjoyed it. Plenty of families, crisp cold air and lots of beautiful lights. A trip the kids will love!

These animals have become domesticated pets, they will be harmed by a concert as much as your Dog or Cat would be harmed if you watched the Harry Potter collection with your sound bar on higher volume. 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏽
