This district is quite fascinating even though there are some shaddy areas. There are some good restaurants and nice boutiques. There is a limited traffic and so nice to stroll on foot.

Enjoyed this location a great deal. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Pearl District, which was centrally located. Also enjoyed the nearby Saturday Market and Chinatown.

If you want to stroll a great street looking for a restaurant or shop, this is the place to go (except possibly for Mississippi Ave.). Nice people, nice area.

The Pearl District is home to Powell's Books and other great shops and dining. We hit several stores and had dinner at Fatheads Craft Brewery. A fun part of the City!

Sorry I was in Europe and didn't check. We took the train right from the airport and it was easy and gets you right to town in about 40 minutes.

There are several things to do there. We were traveling through Portland on our way to Seattle and stayed there for two days only. You only need two to three days to get your fill. I would recommend: 1. Pittock... More
