Portlandia is a sculpture by Raymond Kaskey located above the entrance of the Portland Building, in downtown Portland, Oregon, at 1120 SW 5th Avenue. It is the second-largest copper repoussé statue in the United States, after the Statue of Liberty.

I mean you might as well come take a look… The best views are from the building across the street where you can be at the same level as Portlandia and see the statue. It's impressive and cool looking, though the history of the existence...More

Eric, our tour guide, gave a great overview of the downtown, including historical facts and sights. His knowledge and personality made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for knowledge of Portland, Oregon.

Porltandia is amazing but to really see her you need to be standing across the street - driving by does not give you a good view and neither does being on the same side and trying to crane your neck to see her. The building...More

Portlandia is a beautiful piece of art but it’s a shame she is nestled in between some buildings and difficult to see and find. I would say it’s worth the time to go see her though yeah again it is a beautiful piece of artwork....More

Iconic symbol of the city that should be tracked down. Be sure to go across the street, up the escalator and into a small museum that explains the sculpture and also gives a great view of the statue..

Very striking building a bit off the main path with a really fantastic statue of Portlandia. I understand the inside is a bit of a dump but looks neat from the street.

This building is going to get dropped once the city figures out how to fund it. The statue on the front is an icon and is worth checking out. As a local, I have worked in the building and across the street for years and...More

Interesting trivia regarding this sculpture. Strange that it was commissioned and yet its image is not owned by the city. Worth a quick pass-by, but not a destination event.
