We are so fortunate to have BodyVox Dance Center in Portland, OR. I have gone to many of their performances. All of the shows have been great, and I have never been disappointed. My wife purchased tickets for "the Spin." I was not all that excited about going but went along, I must say this was a real treat! Fun to watch and the dance team was 1st class.

I was surprised to discover this dance troupe right here in Portland. We're relatively new to the area, and continue to discover pretty amazing talent. Similar to (and with experience from) Pilobolus, Momix, and others, their venue is small, tickets affordable, and dance continually clever, accessible and fun.

Portland is one of the more cultured cities it's size in the country featuring great opera, symphonic music, theater, ballet and dance of all forms. A particular jewel is BodyVox nearing the close of their spring performance "The Cutting Room" showing in their NW Portland performance space. If you have not seen this yet and you care anything about dance,... More
