One of the best things I have ever done with my wife. The cruise was amazing and informative. Never knew that so many large ships actually sail down the Willamette River. Captain Joe was awesome and gave us so much info on the bridges, ships and landmarks. Can't wait to book another trip and take friends along. The "Ananda" is... More

Just a few weeks ago my family and I went out with Capt. Joe aboard his boat, the Ananda. We did the 9 bridge tour and had a wonderful time touring the Willamette and Portland's bridges. Capt. Joe is very knowledgeable concerning his boat, the river, the bridges, and Portland in general. It was a happy marriage of Capt. Joe's... More

I had a friend visiting from New York and decided to book this cruise of the bridges in Portland - seen from the water. It was lovely, and the Captain was very nice and knowledgeable. All in all, a great way to spend a day in Portland and now I have a new appreciation of the bridges I usually drive... More

We went on the Bridge tour in the Willamette river at Christmas time when many of the Yachts had their Christmas lights on and it was a wonderful evening. My wife and I both agree that is was one of our most enjoyable dates!

I have six kids, four of whom are teenage boys. They're always saying, "Man, that was Sick!" which is meant to be a compliment. My husband and I got a rare break from the kids to enjoy a romantic cruise. We were watching the Christmas ships from the warm cabin of the Ananda when I got sick... Not the good... More

We took one of the Christmas Lights Tours; what a wonderful experience! The boat is amazing, so wonderful that such a beautiful boat has survived and is in such lovely shape. We felt lucky to get to enjoy a night on her. And, the captain was great! He knew so much about the river and the area, really made the... More

My wife and I went on a night cruise on the Ananda, a very old and meticulously maintained vessel. I highly recommend this cruise on this small yacht from yesteryear. Great way to see Portland sites and bridges from the water.

On a chilly, rainy, day in May six of us climbed aboard Capt. Joe's classic cruiser along with our picnic basket, bottles of wine and cameras... we were not disappointed. The cruiser was warm and snug and Capt. Joe regaled us with fact and fiction about Portland's section of the river. He is a fount of information about the bridges,... More
