MV is truly a village. The stores and restaurants are almost entirely independents. Walking around the few blocks that make up "downtown MV" is an experience in itself. The shops are wonderful. But be prepared to climb some hills.

If you are in the Pacific Northwest, don't miss Multnomah Falls! Easy hike to the bridge and waterfall. Cute store and coffee shop to grab a drink.

Lots of great shops, brewpubs, coffee houses and art types shops. Easy parking on the street. This place is worthwhile to spend an afternoon kicking around.

Yes you can if you get there early you can park up above but other wise they have big parking lots pulling of the freeway for a 5th wheel trailer.
