Our daughter reserved a picnic area for a party and it was great. The park is clean, easy to get to, and has a beautiful variety of trees.

It is a very nice park, with great walkways. There is a small lake with ducks that children seemed to love. If you like to Pokemon this is great place to go!

If you love Portland, and Victorian style, then this is a must see! How can you not see this (no cost), if you are in the region!?

This is a lovely small park in the middle of a nice neighborhood on a hill. Locals were using it primarily to go walking... Some dogs were taking their masters for a quick jog about the place. Trees were wonderful and it was cool on...More

Great walking, resting, dog walking park in the east side of Portland. Well maintained park with several walking paths and a nice pond with ducks and geese.

Beautiful park in Portland. Two weddings were going on at the same time, but neither interfered with the other because the park is so large. Loved the atmosphere in Portland and at this park.

A beautiful park within city limits and seems to stretch out quite a ways. Plenty of spots to sit and hang out or walk some trails. Well worth the stop here.

Beautiful place for a picnic or just hanging out with friends on a summers day. Fall colors are pleasant. Easy to reserve a table for a large group of friends or family event.

Laurelhurst Park is great for walking and relaxing with or without a dog. There is an off leash area for dogs and lots of nature to explore!

We were housesitting in this area, and found this park to go throw the ball for our dog. There is a designated off-leash area inside the park. This park is large, and old - the trees are gigantic! It is webbed with walking paths that...More

Your most likely place to park (for several hours) would be 1 block north of Stark St. As noted above, it would be best to be there before noon to secure a larger space on the street.
