Great, creative drinks and small plates at reasonable prices. I especially love the polenta, fried green beans with a spicy sauce and the Brie/Gorgonzola fondue.

Definitely had a great time and was bewildered by their 100+ selections of martinis from very sweet to an absolute classic with a twist. I've had the Frank Sinatra while my friend enjoyed the Lemon martini. Definitely recommend if in town

Fantastic deal on martinis for happy hour drew us in. I liked that they had food from the fondue place next door on the menu. My rose martini was super tasty, and the selection was huge! Fun place to stop for a drink. Only think I didn’t like was that you had to go inside and get your own water. Seemed like a lazy thing for the servers not to do in which was otherwise a nice upscale place.

So many martinis to choose from! In a town that loves its beer, nice to know there is a real martini bar in town. I had the lemon basil as I don’t love sweet. Hubby had the blue eyes. Super yummy and very smooth. Bartenders friendly. Easy going vibe. Food good, but only tried the shrimp and grits app and the tuna app. Small portions so I am assuming they are happy hour size:/price ($5 each). Worth stopping in for happy hour for sure. And anytime late for their awesome martini selection.

My favorite dish at Bartini is the Bartini Sampler. It is a heavenly bliss of everything good in life. I am going to start with my favorite dish on the sampler because I do not enjoy delayed gratification. The mashed potatoes were so good. They were very creamy and flavorful. Flavors including garlic, fine cut basil leaves, little better of pepper and spice and everything nice. The mashed potatoes were served in a cute martini glass and then topped with crumbled bleu cheese and lovely and a decadent slice of brie. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this dish!

Next on the sampler were the finger-licking smoked pork tacos topped with sour cream, a creamy cilantro sauce and salsa. I could tell the cilantro sauce had a few additions; it was slightly thickened and had some added spices in it for a nice kick. The pork meat was very juicy (be careful of spillage) which probably means it was marinated for long period of time and cooked slow and not like most other tacos where the meat is dry and tough. The tacos were a fulfilling size and I would definitely order them again.

Then there were the spicy shoyu shrimp satay covered in a spicy peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was very well prepared. The sauce had a bit of a tang and just enough spice. The peanut taste was very generous and not overpowering. Great balance of both spice and sweet making it a very savory sauce over the shrimp skewers. The shrimps were a bit small.

The last dish on the sample were the crab cakes. They were gross. Stale and dry. I could barely taste the crab in the cakes. Even the inside was very tough. The crab cakes actually reminded me more so of overcooked hush puppies…yea imagine that!

Bartini is of course known for their plethora of both regular and off-the-wall martinis. I have never had a bad martini there but there are some that I like more than others. There are ones to meet whatever taste buds you may have from sweet and sugary like the Hypnotic or the Snickers to tart and refreshing like the Huckleberry and some spicy options. I think the best part about going here is being open-minded to try a few martinis that allow you to step outside of your comfort zone. So the only recommendation I have is to try something new and have fun exploring.

For those that don’t like martinis, there is a full regular bar. During this visit, I did have to mojito and it was AMAZING! They could open up another location and call it BARJITO. That would be fun. Hope they invite me to opening day.

Parking is a nightmare…always. It is not only in area with a lot of small businesses and restaurants and the one of the more popular areas in PDX but it’s mixed in with residential living as well. Super annoying…be prepared to look for parking a good 15 minutes.

Okay, so we stumbled upon this place after leaving Holosan and a night of dancing. We were truly surprised to find this really chill location within the city. First, I must give then two thumbs up on there Happy Hour menu selection and their LONG list of martini's! Their martinis were top notch and very affordable at happy hour. During our visit my friend tried the Juniper Martini and she loved it. We also ordered the fondue, and chicken wings which were delicious. Essentially, this was a very cool/ hidden gem in the city and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting.
