We did the 10 Ish minute round trip just to get a view out over the mountains. We had an amazingly clear day so could see all of them very clearly. If it's a bit overcast I wouldn't bother as. It sure what you'd see....More

Really good view, but since there is a Hospital and campus at the top of the ride, there is no other turist attraction, so you dont need to speed too much time here.

Great views and ride from light rail line to college campus. Top of ride is a hospital and college campus, nothing to do but enjoy view.

For $5 round trip, you have to do this! It's a great view of Portland! It's breathtaking! When you get up to the top, walk the walkway to the VA hospital or get a Starbucks in the children's hospital! Enjoy!

We walked about a mile to get to the tram. Horrible parking situation. It is not an expensive ride. It takes about 5 minutes to ride the tram up the hill. The view at the top is exceptional.

From the tram folks: "While we love dogs, we do require them to be kept within a secure carriers that are approved by the Tram staff (i.e. locking crates) appropriate for carrying the size and type of dog at all times... More

On street parking is limited and is ~$2/hr I believe. Also underground parking available nearby for a reasonable price.

On the main street that the tram is off of. Parking is 2hr paid
