Fun for the whole family! Hike the natural history and learn about the plants and animals of tidewater country. Slide into the bear den and visit a weather station. Then you will travel back in time to learn about the early Kuuich tribe, days of early logging, and visit a tidewater town.

The gift Shop is very nice, and the museum is right there as well. We did not visit the museum on this outing. Price a little high ($8.00 for Adults) NO SENIOR DISCOUNTS. But the center has a nice overlook of the river and area.

I chaperoned my son's field trip in June. We really enjoyed the guided tours, very informative and kid friendly. The detail of the murals (I believe hand painted) are amazing. Fun, interactive displays. Large, clean restrooms. A hidden gem in this quiet community.

A very well done small museum. We thought we would be through it in an hour. Spent half a day, and would have stayed longer if we had had more time.

You should not visit with little children. The gift shop is too enticing and located right at the front door. Not enough hands-on displays.
