This is a short up hill hike to a sheer Basalt cliff water fall. The trail is well maintained and you can get to the bas of the falls walking over some rocks. Great hike to combine with Steamboat falls about three miles away. There...More

the falls is beautiful and the trail is really lovely as well. It is mostly uphill but all of the lush vegetation helps distract you.

Just off the highway, park the car in the lot and take the quick path up to the falls. Will do it again when company comes to visit.

We enjoy the short hike through the woods to the bottom of the falls. My brother & I hiked to the narrow trail towards the top. On one of the landings you can look out for miles and never see any sign of civilization. Coming...More

We went here in April, not all the snow was gone but this waterfall had a clear path. Hike isn't bad if you go slow. The falls were full since the snow melt had started. Makes a nice photo.

Hike to falls is pretty much all uphill, but beautiful, mostly shadded, and not too strenuous -- maybe 20 minutes. Enough to work up an appreciation for the cool spray when you arrive and see the falls!

We have had only one light powdering of snow this year. I'd advise footwear that can handle some mud.
