On our way to Bend we detoured to stretch our legs and see the falls as we were unable to travel up the Columbia Gourge to see Multnomah Falls the other day because of the wild fires. It was raining when we parked, but the...More

We stayed in Portland near the airport but we drove our rental car about 75 minutes out of town to find this gem of a state park. There were grills, bathrooms, and amazing hikes. We were there on Labor Day so the park was pretty...More

Beautiful, scenic, but you can only see a little bit of the falls fall the viewpoints. You have to hike into the woods (and fairly far) to see the falls up close.

A cool respite on a hot day in July. There are various hikes to the ten falls, suitable for all ages and abilities. Also of interest are several historic buildings. There is cute gift shop in one of them. This park is worth going out...More

We've stayed here twice now and I anticipate going back. It is a beautiful park in which to camp and hike. You can hike to all ten waterfalls but be warned that would be a very full day. Best to split it up into two...More

We went with family and children and although very busy, you didn't feel it crowded. The view of the falls is great and very peaceful. Its worth the visit.

Go to ReserveAmerica to get camping reservations there. There is also a biking/hiking campsite near Lyons, to the south about 2 hours bike ride depending on your route.
