This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Lush green forest, rivers and a huge number of waterfalls of all shapes and sizes. Anyone (including kids) can easily take the canyon trail loop and see 10 fantastic falls. It is a 10 mile hike all around. If you are a bit more adventurous- rent a mountain bike... More

We were travelling around the USA in a rented RV and visiting all the national parks especially to see this beautiful country. Had heard of all the waterfalls at this park and decided to have a look. We camped at the campground and it was almost full as we got there late in afternoon but we still got a campsite... More

Decades ago Silver Falls State Park had 2 beautiful falls to visit. Now there are at least - count 'em - ten! Put on your hiking shoes and enjoy one after another! The trails are nicely maintained. There is a large recreation area with plenty of parking, and the facilities near that area are handicap accessible. So whether it's a... More

I've been to Silver Falls many times, it is an Oregon State Park (which means you buy a day pass) with an extensive picnicking area with a playground next to a gently flowing portion of Silver Creek, suitable for small children to play in the water. There are pavilions for larger parties as well as one on the opposite side... More

This is a beautiful clean state park that everyone who either lives here or visits should see. There are multiple facilities. Many walking and hiking trails all over the park but the falls are not to be missed. We went during the heat wave knowing that it would be at least 15 degrees cooler with all the shade and cooling... We visited Silver Falls State Park for the family activities on Saturday at the Café and Lodge area of the Park. It was very well organized, crowded with happy participants. Santa was there and was wonderful to visit. The blue grass music was great and Oh Holy Night sung by the blue grass diva was perfect. The all of us... More

We visited the park while on a cycling trip and it was wonderful. There are many waterfalls and the largest one has a trail that circles the huge bowl that has been created. You actually walk behind the falls and the curtain of water is in front of you. There is an old lodge/restaurant there that was built back when... More

We only live 1.5 hours from this park. We are so happy we found it and will be back here many times. We went on a rainy day and we were able to get out to 3 of the waterfalls in the park. There is one trail you can do that will take you to all 10 waterfalls, that is... More

This is the most extraordinary state park that I have ever seen. It is non stop great! For seven miles and a $5.00 entrance fee, you will see ten terrific waterfalls. You can walk in front of, in back of and around waterfalls here.. There are some steep parts but most of the route is easy. There are some wet... More

We took our out-of-town guests for an afternoon hike. They were stunned by the absolute beauty this state park offers! The benefits of hiking in November includes reduced number of visitors, recent rains had the water falls & creek roaring and the deciduous trees had dropped their leaves to offer amazing vistas. The moss covered trees add a sense of... More
