An easy walk for all family members ends at a beautiful waterfall. There is a parking lot for use or you can ride bikes from Sunriver.

This trail is gorgeous and great for walking when there is not too much snow and there was not this year. It is also great for biking when the weather is warmer and the view of Benjamin Falls from the trail and the lookout platform...More

We love the trail from the east access for numerous reasons: it is easy to get to on a good road off Hwy 97, the trail is wide and mostly level until you get to the falls area, and it's full of scenic beauty. Benham...More

This is an easy hike with pretty views of the river and waterfall. Plenty of places to stop and capture some family photos. Trail is a bit wet & muddy. Boots are recommended.

The river trail from Bend to Benham Falls is one of my favorite bike trails, it is lovely and not too difficult for intermediate riders but interesting enough for seasoned mountain bikers. From Sunriver to Benham Falls is paved bike trail up to the westernmost...More

Bend is a special place, hiking, biking, relaxing and on the back tracking way back to California. Stopping and taking an occasional hike to break up the highway drive is a treat. The hike up to the falls was a nice break. We ended up...More

My wife and I enjoyed the hike very much. Just long enough to be a good physical challenge. Beautiful country. The series of falls in the canyon were powerful and majestic. Loved the occasion Sun breaks through the clouds. Snowed a few minutes as well.

Definitely one of our favorite hikes in the Bend area! We did this one a few times because of the scenery alone. It's mostly done as an "out and back". You can hike or bike it. Put this on your list!

What a gorgeous hike along the Deschutes River to Benham Falls. A well maintained, easy trail awaits you. The falls are spectacular demonstrating the fury of water. The whole image is even better when you include the setting that it is set in. Such beauty!

What a beautiful and awe spring thing to see! One of the highlights of our trip for sure! Turned a disappointing trip, due to fires and other issues, into something worthwhile to see.

I would not recommend trying to visit the falls in the winter. The roads are not plowed for access to the falls. Years ago I tried and almost got stuck in the snow.
