What a great night for our family reunion - a group of 12, ages 3-71! The sky was clear and the moon was "new," so there was little to no light interference. There were several telescopes that we were able to "tour," and through theme...More

My 7 year old and I enjoyed this special, late night experience. They clearly love what they do at the observatory and it shows. We enjoyed going from telescope to telescope. Seeing Saturn was truly amazing. An inexpensive, must-do while in Sunriver.

A little crowded. Just there early. Summertime has mosquitoes, so be prepared. We saw space station trek across sky. We Saturn Mars Jupiter this time of year. Not great place for small kids.

Holy cow this was amazing! Great for all ages, very informative and friendly volunteers. Our family of 11 enjoyed seeing numerous planets, starbursts, moon shots and many more sky mysteries. This is a must see!

Wow, how amazing. Largest number of telescopes at a private observatory in the country. Globular galaxy clusters 25million miles away. Jupiter and it’s 4 visible moons, Saturn, duo stars next to black holes!!! Constellation layouts.... Do not mis this.

The Observatory at Sunriver is Awesome! They had several telescopes set up looking at a variety of things... the people manning the facility were helpful and provided a lot of information. This is a must do when staying in Sunriver.

It was dark and crowded when we went, but it was totally worth it. I saw stars and systems that I had never heard of, along with the old favorites. The volunteers are awesome and knowledgeable. Thank you!

If you are going to see the preview which is in the area where you buy your tickets(highly recommended) and then see the planets it will take several hours but worth every minute. It is a great evening for kids and adults!
