We visit this place as much as we can. We want to visit this place during all season. But winter may not be that safe to visit. As most of the road was closed due to flooding and landslides. But you can enter this highway from different places and see multnomah falls and crown point easily. Multnomah falls can be... More

We took the scenic route from Multnomah falls to Troutedale. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We took our time to stop and see all the falls and take in the history of the area. It was such a nice Sunday drive.

We drove up here early one morning and were literally blown away. The wind was amazing and I had to brace myself to take any photographs. Well worth it. Stop at the waterfalls which are just off the highway. Fantastic view of the Columbia River.

Beautiful scenery and a nice way to spend a day. The weather could have been better for us, but it still wasn't to be missed. What we could see through the fog was beautiful.

This is a beautiful view of nature in the most diverse scenery. There is nature for all tastes even for those who aren't, big on automobile travels. Thank you Oregon for keeping your highways lovely.

I've been on several drives through Oregon along the coast, through the forests, through the mountains and now through the Columbia River highway. I think this one ranks in the top 2 with all the waterfalls and the river. Definitely worth the time to take in the beauty of Oregon.

It was a great way to see the Gorge. Absolutely breath taking views. Be cautious if snow is expected. It complicates the drive a bit.

I was going to spend another day in Portland but grew tired of the traffic and people were kinda starting to annoy me so I hit the road and drove from Camas, WA, to the Bridge of the Gods and back to Portland along the Columbia River Highway. Stops for waterfalls and coffee breaks and mini-hike. It was heaps of... More

Amazing views along this stretch of road - be sure the drive the old highway rather than the I-84 highway. Highlights include stopping at Horsetail Falls, Multnomah Falls, the Vista House lookout, and another lookout west of Vista House (on some Women's Guild property, or something like that) for great views looking east at Vista House, etc.
