Its worth a stop. You get a great view of the ocean and the dunes The real jewel is the lake just down the street. That is worth spending several hours enjoying.

We had hoped the fog would clear up but it didn’t. In any case, we didn’t have great views but the setting of the lighthouse was still very nice. We did enjoy just walking around the area.

Had a great time at the lighthouse. Self guided tour of the museum, guided tour of the lighthouse. Great stop with beautiful views. So glad we came.

Nice area with some great views. We did not go on the lighthouse tour but really enjoyed the area. Nice lake right nearby with great picnic area.

Check out the clam digging below, didn't know clams this big still exist? Almost plate size! Camp at the campground check availability of Yurts better price than a motel if staying for a few. Also, can bring fido with.
