My wife and I visited this place during our recent trip to Oregon. I was wondering how a site with a number of tropical species would handle the winter (it was about 40 degrees the afternoon we went here), bur the exhibits were great. We had some VERY close encounters with the residents, especially in the buffalo enclosure. There were... More

Great concept for a wildlife park! Stay in the comfort of your car and drive around the park. Some animals come right up beside your vehicle. Great family place to visit

This was a great attraction to take kids of all ages to. We had a blast driving through checking out all the wildlife. We even got to hear the elephant trumpet on our visit. The kids had so much fun going through this. I highly recommend checking this place out!!

This is a place we visit several times a year. A baby giraffe had been born and it was very awesome to see walking beside it's mother. Great place to take the kids They also have an awesome light showing around the Christmas holidays.

You get to drive around in your own car for a good hour and a half to two hours to see a variety of animals. If want to see carnivores hunting for preys on a prairie, this would not be the place. (Driving in your own car in that environment does not seem safe to me.) Carnivores were still kept... More

Less animals than most zoos, but the environment is so much more appropriate for the animals and it shows in their behavior. Most of the animals you see at the Wildlife Safari look much happier and healthier than your typical zoo. The do get to move around to different parts of the park at times as well. Once we had... this is a huge wildlife park with most of the animals ranging free. The animals are well cared for and the diversity is good. This is an excellent way to spend a few hours. The special encounters are particularly fun. We enjoyed feeding the giraffe and the hippo.
