I hate to tell you how great this is....because you'll visit. You'll trample it, you'll pull the starfish off the rocks, you'll make noise, when this is my peaceful sanctuary. BUT if you love peace and you honor nature, visit.

As always the Oregon Coast has lots to offer. The fantastic views, no matter where you stop along the way. All the little towns have great accommodations, nice places to eat, great shops you name it. Stopped in Florence and had some great clam chowder at Mo's. While we were eating we were entertained by the sea lions swimming in... More

We spent two days here this week, walking the 804 coast trail, and chasing our dog on the beach. It rained, blew, and the sun shined...typical Oregon coastal spring weather.

Could have spent longer here as such natural beauty, waves splashing against jagged rocks, quiet beach areas with smooth sand, areas to walk right down to ocean, seen sea urchins, windy and very peaceful - did the trail of restless waters and it was beautiful! The

The coastline of Oregon is one of the most scenic and accessible in the US, if not the world. The farther south you get, the less populated and the more dramatic. Take a week if you can.

We drove south and enjoyed the scenic coastline. We didn't have great weather - raining and windy. Would be more spectacular in sunny and clear weather.

There is so much to see at Yachts coast! It's rocky with many fabulous blowholes where the water spouts up as much as 20 to 50 feet high. It's mesmerizing! The waves are thunderous! It's not a beach to go swimming in though!
