The Yachats Coastline is one of the top wonders of the West Coast. This awe-inspiring landscape is humbling. Best to view and enjoy the view travelling south as pull-outs are more easily accessible.

We have visited Yachats twice in the past couple of years. The breakers are fantastic. The 804 Trail that runs past some of the most impressive rocky beaches is worth the walk.

Highway 101 decides the town of Yachats. Heading north, if you make a left hand turn just after entering town, the views are amazing. After a few blocks on the coast, there is a park/picnic area and for parking.

Great place to enjoy the sunset out at the county park. The bay pretty much empties at low tide. Nice birding for shorebirds and gulls and the occasional whale offshore.

This was our first trip to Yachats. Great scenery and great food. Restaurant called Heidi's was the best. We stayed @ the Overleaf Inn and it was fantastic. Amazing view of the rocks and the ocean, very quiet, except for the 'surf' (which we loved)....More

Drove along Hwy 101 from Yachats to Newport and simply a beautiful ride. Try the Luna Sea and Drift Inn for food in Yachats and the "mini San Fran" restaurant and shops in Newport.

Loved our two days in Yachats, where we enjoyed beautiful scenery, amazing art, great food, and kite-flying breezes.

We loved watching the waves crash against the rocky shore in places and other spots had wide, sandy beaches with lots of pretty rocks. Nature is on display here in many forms.

We stayed at the Ziggurat that was beautiful and right on the water about 5 miles from town. You can go to AirBNB and search for "Yachats Ziggurat" to check on availability.
