The shrine is a hidden treasure. The grounds are beautiful and the chapel is so impressive you'll want to spend most of your time there in quiet prayer. It's a shame it will be closing at the end of the year.

A beautiful shrine with a casket of saint mother Katherine Drexel. The nuns there are always helpful and friendly and beautiful pews and request basket. A good gift shop too.

Serene setting in Philadelphia suburb. Moving displays showing the good works done by this order of Sisters and their founder Saint Katharine Drexel. An hour or two well spent.

Although we had each been here before for religious services, we decided to go again with a camera. The 1890's buildings are impressive for the architecture and grounds. A local gem which we hope is not demolished for condos. Free, open, walk in and where...More
