Beautiful scenery, but it does require a lot of walking. The entire trail is probably 7-8 miles long, but it is worth it. There are no fees to get in or to park. Just remember where you parked, because it can be easy to get...More

I've hiked here on numerous occasions. This past one was up to the fire watch tower. The views on all the trails are wonderful and the park is kept well maintained.

Thank you. TripAdvisor. We took a detour to get out and rest on our long trip. We ate our lunch and walked a bit. It was so peaceful and serene even though winter doesn't seem quite over.

Pristine views that encourage quiet reflection and inspire awe of creation. The trails are a bit demanding, but well worth the effort. There's no time limit and plenty of places to stop, rest, and reflect.

Trails are average to hard. Not for the faint of heart when going up the falls. They are improving the path more but there have been times walking up the trails by the falls that you wish there was more support. For a good butt...More

My daughter and I did the full day winter waterfall hike at Ricketts Glen State Park. It was a wonderful way to spend a winter day outdoors. I'd say it requires an adventurous spirit as the guides take you through the trails and to up...More

We visited Ricketts Glen over the New Years Eve weekend, staying in one of the modern cabins again. We were treated to a real winter wonderland with a good helping of snow. It was really beautiful, quiet and peaceful. All the other cabins were also...More

Although I haven't been there since October, I would expect with the snow melt everything should be flowing fine. In fact, I've been there at various times and have never seen them not be breathtaking.

I don’t recall ever seeing any playgrounds. The beach is the main toddler friendly attraction when the weather is warm. I don’t recommend taking an 18 month old on the falls trails for safety & convenience reasons.
