The lake has a two-mile trail around it and it is perfectly flat. I've even seen parents with baby carriages that had no problem walking the path. There are plenty of picnic tables and some charcoal grills that can be used free of charge. Access...More

This is one of my favorite places to go to photograph sunsets. I used to fish from shore there, but it seems like the water level kept getting lower.

The nature center is nice and there is a large loop around the lake which made for a good 4 mile walk. The terrain is easy if going with anyone who can't manage a more challenging terrain. Scenery was nice.

Beautiful lake with trails around it, picnic tables in pavilions, boat launch for fishing or kayaking, Nature Center/museum, fossil shale pit. A wonderful place year round.

This is a beautiful place for hiking or fishing! So many beautiful trails for walking, bird watching and great picnic areas. No motorized boats but we love to take our little pedal boat, so much fun. Gorgeous man made lake!

Great place to get away and hike, picnic, or kayak. There is a trail that goes around the lake with beautiful views. They have covered pavilions and tables to have a family picnic. The place area is very clean.
