Visited the education center and hiked the fossil trail

The staff was friendly, clean restrooms at the visitors center. We only had time to hike the fossil trail. It was awesome. We plan to come back and hike the other trails.

Got some good info from the friendly folks that work there. Most of them are hikers so they can give you first hand information which is very helpful. We did the Tumbling waters hike which was somewhat difficult in places especially the area that goes down to (and back up from) the waterfall. The falls were beautiful and very peaceful.... More

We stopped for information on our quest to see the waterfalls in the Delaware Water Gap area. The park ranger was so helpful. He showed us on the map where the waterfalls were and which ones were open this time of the year. (March 24 , 2017) . The center itself has many displays that school age children would enjoy.... What a great trip. Beautiful scenery, just magnificent. A lot of work went into maintenance of this park. Family loves it and we will go again for sure.

We stopped at the Education Center to hike Tumbling Water Trails. There are a number of other trails that are easy to moderate. Tumbling Waters Trail is a well marked trail that is moderate to difficult. The trail is 3 miles long and well marked in orange. We thought it would take two hours but it took us a bit... More

Went to PEEC and decided to do the Tumbling Waters Trail. The trail is 3 miles with 2 major steep hills, one is called "Killer Hill". The trails are very well marked and easy to follow. You will see a beautiful overlook of Delaware Valley and Kittatinny Mountains in New Jersey. At the half way point, you will take some... More

I had gone here on a school trip back in the 80s, but this time I went to go on a hike. We did the tumbling waters trail. It was very well marked, and easy to navigate. The reward is getting to the falls halfway through. After going down to the falls, it was well worth the trek. Not crowded... More

I loved PEEC ever since I went to summer camp there as a kiddo. I later became a counselor. Now as an adult out of town I rarely frequent... A shame because it really is a local gem! They have great activities for all ages here and this is the place to go for education on all outdoor matters!!! There... More

There are many trails of various degrees of difficulty but nothing difficult. We routinely do the Tumbling Waters trail and also the Fossil trail. It's a great stop if you are passing through the DWGNRA.
