My wife and I spent 3 unrushed hours touring the Brig Niagara and visiting the museum. What an education. The museum provided a wealth of information about O.H. Perry and the Battle of Lake Erie. Checking online, the brig was not scheduled to be in...More

How much do you know about the Battle of Lake Erie? Great exhibits to learn and understand all about it. Check their schedule and try to go when the Niagara is at dock.

Be sure to check the schedule to visit when the brig is in port. It was the highlight of our visit with interesting info provided by our guide.

Erie Maritime Museum is loaded with significant things that came from the Presque Isle territory. It was worth our time to review everything in the museum.

A nice little museum. While its certainly not a comprehensive course on the war of 1812 (which gets basically skipped over in school these days) I did learn a lot about the Battle of Lake Erie and the role that Presque Isle played in it....More

Hi, if it is in the Harbor, you can see the outside, but it travels a lot and is gone. Always check to see if it is there first.

We went before lunch and had the museum to ourselves. An hour or two should be plenty. We really enjoyed it!

I agree with Robby, at least 2 hours, if you want to see everything, take your time and spend 3. I would think the Diamond Tour would allow you enough time to take it all in. Enjoy!
