We visited on Fathers Day, and the park was hopping. Hundreds of picnic-ers and swimmers. Plenty of parking and restrooms. Views over the water are beautiful. If you go, have fun. Watch out for the potholes on your drive.

I went here with my father and teenage son to rent a boat and fish for the day. There is also a beach area for families to sun bath and swim.

Beautiful scenery and occasional train passing by! Nice quiet lake to float around and fish. Boat rental easy and always friendly. All areas always clean and frequent conservation officer presence a plus. Nice Beach, nice stop close to home hidden away but not far away.
