This is a great park on the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg. Nice scenic place to take a walk. Neighborhood is seedy after dark.

Enjoy a scenic walk along the Susquehanna. This is probably the most scenic spot in the city and has lots of people walking their dogs and jogging.

Good gardens and walking path along the water. Some war memorials too. Visit the 13 steps representing the 13 original colonies. And it's free.

Definitely a nice area for a walk, jog, or biking. There are a number of public sculptures in the park areas that add some interesting sights during your time there. It's a beautiful green space.

Relaxing & pretty small township. Interesting art work of a man in the bench which I believe is most photographed with.

Nice area to bike, jog, or walk. Most areas are safe for women to exercise alone. Plenty of different activities and sites so it does not get boring

City Island is free if there's no event (baseball games, etc). Otherwise there's metered parking that accepts debit/credit cards.

I typically park at city island to avoid using meters, plus it gives you a great excuse to go across the walking bridge a few times. There are quite a few restaurants on second street downtown, but the best place would... More
