Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.

First of all, Troegenator Double Bock Beer is our personal favorite. So we entered the Brewery already biased to the brand. That being said, there is so much more to the Troeg label. And you'll learn all about it on the Production tour. We made our reservations for a Saturday afternoon tour one week in advance as was recommended, and... More

This was my first brewery tour ever and I really enjoyed it. I enjoy Troegs beer so it was really cool to see how they make it all. The tour takes your through every step of the brewery process and along the way you are able to try some beer as well as try some of the grain that is... More

This is a great brewery tour! We had a small group which made it easier to enjoy, I think. The tour itself is $5 per person, with a complimentary tasting at the beginning and the end, as well as a souvenir pint glass. The tour is nicely detailed and you actually get to see all the of brewing activities in... More

Troegs is a great stop on your way in or out of Hershey. The food is fantastic! Mainly the pretzels! The many different kinds of beers are great too. Have not been on a tour but im sure that it is great too. I think the only downfall is the lack of parking.

Did not take the tour as I've been on a few and didn't have the time. Mainly came for the brew and food. It was a little difficult to figure out the tasting room and how to get a beer, but we "bellied up to the bar" and just ordered. Food was set up in a counter style, order, pay... More

My husband was pretty excited to try this brewery out after hearing numerous rave reviews from chatting with local people. We were on a family trip from Ohio to Hershey. When we walked in we were created immediately by a hostess in the front explaining how it worked. That was extremely helpful (I'm not sure I've encountered that in such... More

Be sure to reserve a tour of the brewery well ahead of time. They recommend arriving early... definitely do! The parking lot was full and spent time driving around. The tour costs $5 per person. It's definitely worth $5 as it includes beer samples and an exclusive pint glass. The snack bar looks interesting, but we had dining reservations elsewhere.

We had a tour at 11:30 on a Sunday morning because we were in town over night. Wonderful tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and it was about 45 minutes, and you receive a tasting pour of a beer before the tour, we tasted a beer that's not even on the market yet during, and at the end of the... I've been here twice. The first time, food was good; the second time, not so much. They change their menu all the time, so it's hit or miss, but they do have eclectic food options. Get the sampler if you want to try different beers. Parking can be very difficult here.
