Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

We enjoyed the tour from the very start. The guide filled the 70 minutes with pleasant banter filled with touching facts. History came alive. Thank you for a lovely outing.

We took this tour the Saturday after Thanksgiving how to get us in the Christmas mood. This entire tour was great special gifts for children. Christmas carols and great acting from the staff. Our lead actor's name was Jake and he did a tremendous job playing all his roles. I would seriously suggest the next time you are in Hershey... More

We just finished the Sweet Lights Trolley and loved it. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my 7 year old son. The young man who was our guide was a delight. I would recommend this to people of any age.

We had a near idyllic time in Hershey. The Trolley Works bus ride through the "Sweet Lights" display was not. The people were nice and our earlier Trolley Works tour through the town of Hershey was great. The earlier trolley was in a trolley style vehicle with comfortable seats and large windows. The Trolley Works tour through the Sweet Lights... More

I just wanted to say that I saw your review, and I appreciate you bringing up those concerns. That bus is a new addition to the fleet, so we are definitely in the process of defining its use for us and our guests, and will use your input going forward. I never enjoy getting negative news, but it is the... More

The tour is about 1.5 hours and is narrated by a local guide. You learn all about how the company was started, and the Milton Hershey School for children in need. We really enjoyed it. If you like seeing nice houses, and learning about history, take the trolley.

Took the trolley tour. Really informative and definitely worth the price. Tour guides really knew their stuff. Learned a lot about the Hershey family and the good they have done for their community.

I've been to Chocolate World more times than I can count. This time was the first that we rode the trolley though, and what a treat! (Literally, the passed out little treats all thru the tour :) We had a young man who was new as a conductor & had a great personality. Kept us chuckling with his humor, so... More

Excellent trip all around Hershey filling you in on all the history of the founder of Hershey. Amazing information and very, very good guide. A must if you are in town or the vicinity. Not all that interesting for small children.

This trolley ride was absolutely fascinating! I had no idea how much Mr. Hershey had done for other people. I am so glad I took the time to do this. Our tour guide and bus driver were hilarious but also very imformtive. As a plus you get several free samples!!

This was the icing on our trip to Hershey. Our guide John and driver Rich were fantastic which included John's jokes. While young kids did get antsy, the candy passed around helped. John and Rich made this ride interesting and the knowledge gained will be something I will always have with me and my family. This trolley ride is a... More
