Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

I bought a ticket to ride the trolley. The price compared to the experience was well worth $15 dollars. I learned so much about the town of Hershey and the man Milton Hershey. The tour guide was very funny and had everyone laughing. I left with a deep appreciation for the work and generosity of Milton Hershey and the town.... More

We got tickets on the trolley for the Christmas lights tour instead of driving ourselves. We got easy entry on a weekend as well as campy host. We did the city tour previously so I can recommend that as well. Great for kids and accommodating to all ages. Campy humor but a great way to hear about the town story.

Wanted to see what this was all about. Even though it was expensive, we did it for the kids. They have never been on a trolley before, it is interactive, a Santa visit with him reading the kids' names off his list, a present for all the kids ion the trolley. Interesting facts about the history of Milton Hershey, takes... More

The Thursday before Christmas we enjoyed a great trolley ride on the Chocolate and History tour. Our conductor and driver...John and John...had a great rapport with each other. Friendly banter, and a lot of interesting stories. It was a little cheesy...but we laughed anyway! We were given a lot of candy on this tour, as well as a full sized... More

This was an amazing tour, the staff hopped on and off the trolley as we received the tour (plus free chocolate). I loved that you could smell chocolate throughout the town! Definitely worth the time and money to check out!

The Santa trolley ride was fun, but somehow when it was time for Santa to check his list he had every kid's name on the trolley, except for our two kids. Santa gives every kid on the trolley an ornament and has an actual scroll with every kid's name on it and calls our their name, but our kid's names... More

Good afternoon, and thank you for taking the time to make me aware of your situation on the trolley. First, please accept my apology that Santa did not have your children's names on the proper list. As you could see on the trolley, that is the distinctive of our show and we want it to go 100% perfectly. With that... More

This is a fun and informative experience. They have tours for the kids and other tours for adults! Make reservations for sure! They change tours around the year as well! This isn't you run of the mill tour either!!! Expect fun and sometimes even treats!

We enjoyed the tour from the very start. The guide filled the 70 minutes with pleasant banter filled with touching facts. History came alive. Thank you for a lovely outing.

We took this tour the Saturday after Thanksgiving how to get us in the Christmas mood. This entire tour was great special gifts for children. Christmas carols and great acting from the staff. Our lead actor's name was Jake and he did a tremendous job playing all his roles. I would seriously suggest the next time you are in Hershey... More

We just finished the Sweet Lights Trolley and loved it. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my 7 year old son. The young man who was our guide was a delight. I would recommend this to people of any age.
