Great show, over priced food

My husband and I saw Brad Williams here last night (Nov 26, 2016). He was absolutely hilarious. We got there an hour and 15 min before the show started so we had a really good... read more

We have visited The Improv several times over the past year. We have always enjoyed a good laugh, whether from the main act or an opener. The food on the other hand is disappointing. Because they require a two minimum purchase, we have taken several chances on the different items on the menu. Needless to say, the nachos in high... More

This is a great place to go to have fun! We sat in front around the stage, not a place to sit if you don't want to be picked on. Haha! You have to order 2 items, drinks or food per person. A little expensive, but the show is great! We liked the not so well known comedians. The head... More

Very nice place and worth the money the nite we went. Yes you got to order 2 drinks per person but with me and my wife that was now problem. Lol. Food was good and the Nachos will fill you up so order 1 for your table. Get in line early for best seats as we were 2nd in line... More

My husband and I saw Brad Williams here last night (Nov 26, 2016). He was absolutely hilarious. We got there an hour and 15 min before the show started so we had a really good view. My only complaint is the price of the food, which is mediocre. I paid $6 for a small dinner salad and $6 for one... More

I went to see former WWE star Rob Van Dam with some friends. The Improv is a very nice venue to see a show at, and RVD was surprisingly pretty funny. The only drawback, however, is the food pricing. I don't think I should have to pay almost $20 for 4 cookies and a bottomless lemonade. I think that that... More

Both times we were there, the comedians were just OK. The drinks are overpriced. We didn't eat there. The nachos looked good though. I also thought the food prices were high. It's just something different to do.

My first time at Pittsburgh Improv was so funny. I loved the atmosphere! Bret Ernst was so hilarious and a great personality! If you've never been to that area before, it's a must try for what I call a 'little town inside a town'. At night, it's beautiful to walk around the little town of businesses (restaurants, bars, shops) and... More

We used a Groupon and got a great deal to go to the Improv. The acts were hilarious, however the drinks and food was expensive. 3 drinks and an order of nachos was $52. We were seated right beside the stage (they seat you as to your place in line to get in). If you're in the front 1-2 rows,... More

We went to see a comedy show in September. When we got there we were upset to hear the host tell us there is a two item minimum purchase. Either two drinks or two food items. The tickets were ordered online. No where did I see a two item required purchase per ticket. However, after this incident I looked back... More

The Pittsburgh Improv has some really good comedians come through. Some aren't so great, of course and if you see someone you haven't heard of you take your chances, but that's true of any improv place. I hear the food is similarly mediocre, but I haven't had it here, so I'm not sure. The drinks are overpriced and not bad.
