We visited here for my dad's 70th birthday. We had never visited before so wasn't sure what to expect but we all really enjoyed it. I couldn't believe how many cars they had managed to get into the space. It looked so small from the outside but there was so much to see. The staff are so nice and welcoming... More

Last went to Atwell-Wilson before their refurbishment. Now it is more spacious, better lit and just more pleasant, deserving of the exhibits. Still a relatively modest collection, it has several "last off the factory line" cars, plus a fascinating Mini prototype. The staff are true enthusiasts, so do talk to them. They will make your visit so much more memorable.... More

My wife and I thought this small car museum was a Jen, the cars are all immaculate in that they are highly polished, lots of other interesting items to view, some big old American gas guzzlers and some old motor bikes. In all we enjoyed our visit.

Not on the scale of Haynes or Montague but well worth a visit with some well known old favourites but also some most unusual vehicles such as a very early Nissan (Datsun) copy of the MGB. There is also a great collection of fairly large scale model HGVs. It is also great that a number of the exhibits are in... More

The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The cars are ones that we, of a certain age, have all driven, owned, or desired.

We popped into this car museum on the way home from being on holiday. It has a wonderful collection of cars, admission prices are reasonable & the childrens activities were enjoyed by the kids. Lots of car parking, clean toilet facilities and attentive, helpful staff really made it a lovely few hours out. I'd recommend you take a picnic as... More

We visited the museum for the first time on Thursday and had a fantastic time there. The staff were all friendly, enthusiastic and helpful and the entrance fee was very reasonable. There were four children in our group (girl aged 14 and three boys aged 10, 8 and 3) and they were all entertained in various ways, I too had... More

This was my first visit since the museum was enlarged. Before it was excellent, but with cars crammed together. Now it's excellent, but with room to see the exhibits better. The range of cars is most interesting, with several "last off the assembly line" cars. To be able to examine the Alec Issigonis gearless Mini at close range is worth... More

An amazing collection of American cars and mainly British cars with very friendly and helpful staff. Not only can you see the cars close up but there is a lot of interesting information provided. While there we were able to watch the workshop carry out restoration work on a Triumph Spitfire and talk to the guys in the workshop. At... More
