Our family of six, (kids range from 7 - 15), took a 35 minute ride through the country side, pulled by jimmy and trooper and driven by Rachel. Despite the cold and windy weather, we were very comfortable in the enclosed cart. Our 7 year old was allowed to ride in the front seat beside Rachel. We asked a ton... More

My son & I took the farm tour today and we loved it. My son even got to help "drive". I would recommend this is people of any age. This will definitely be something we do when we come back to Pennsylvania.

You can take one of three tours we opted for the longer which included going through or over a covered bridge. Our drive and guide had been brought up as an Amish follower but had opted out after her RUMSPRINKER year. She explained how the Amish religion works and its ethics. How Amish people work together and the use of... More

Got there around 2pm and was told that the Farm Tour had concluded for the day, so I opted for the 35 minute tour. Big mistake - they stuffed us tighter than sardines. Being that I was traveling solo, I think I should have been offered to sit up front with the driver rather packed with a rowdy family. The... More

We took the shortest buggy ride. It was definitely worth the money. The young man that drive the buggy was very engaging and interesting. He let everyone ask questions and explained a lot about the Amish. Very educational and beautiful route.

We were on the 35 minute ride, which actually took about 45 mins. Our horses were Trooper and John and their handler was Amos. Amos was more than willing to answer questions about the horses, the Amish lifestyle, etc. and explain what was growing and being harvested in the fields we passed by at a horse's walking pace. A lovely... More
