Aside from the Jam and Relish Kitchen, the shops in Kitchen Kettle Village are what you would find in a touristy shopping center like this. It is similar to Peddler's Village in Lahaska, but not as expensive. Still, it can get pricey, as interesting as some of the stores are. Workers are always friendly. Give it a try.

Lovely stroll through the Kitchen Kettle Village. A nice variety of specialty shops. Most are rather pricy, but fun to poke through. Friendly folks everywhere. Don't miss the Bake Shop - it is more than just baked goodies, also has jams and jellies, relishes, etc.

Adorable shops to visit and sample the different foods in each one. Every time we visit, it's always a great and fun time and see new things.

Crowded on a Thursday in March- that was good. However this is a tourist only place. It is very commercial- we were expecting old culture not what we found. Lots to see but, not much to interest us to take home with us.

Sorry Kitchen Kettle Village was not what you expected. We are a Village of 42 shops, restaurants and lodging. Sounds like you missed Village Quilts here at the Kitchen Kettle, where locally made, hand crafted quilts are sold. You may have also missed our Jam & Relish Kitchen where you can see local farm women make over 90 varieties of... More

There is so much to enjoy here ... from a great restaurant, a Christmas shop, bakery, fudge store, general souvenirs and even a pottery store. There is definitely something for everyone. It's a bit pricey. I purchased the Amish Cookbook for $3.99 then a short time later I found it on the Main Street for $1.99. Such is life. But... More

Visited yesterday. The reason for our visit was to specifically visit Kitchen Kettle Village. It was very cold and we arrived around 10:30, sadly it was like a ghost town. A few of the stores were welcoming but for the most part in my opinion not a place I would go out of my way to visit again. Very expensive.... More

Stephanie, I'm sorry that you were disappointed in your visit to the Village. At this time of the year (winter) we are typically slow, since we are an outdoor shopping Village. Visiting during the warmer months makes for a much different feel in the Village. We have live music, food festivals, and much more to experience. We hope that you... More

My family and I stopped here last year on our trip to Lancaster and came back this year. We had an unseasonably warm day Saturday in February to walk around the shops. The parking was very full, but they had staff directing cars. The shops are nice, lots of places to snack and have free samples. The amish furniture store... More

Awesome place to visit. Lots of unique shops and the greatest is the anchor store, Kitchen Kettle Village - The Jam and Relish Kitchen. Simple amazing. You can try so many items and most everything available was canned directly in the store. It is a must see when visiting.

We actually found this place by accident. We were in town on a trip to doll outlet with the girls and wanted something to eat. We decided to stop for soft pretzels at Immergut. After finished eating we decided to go for a little walk and we ended up in this village with all these shops. We looked around for... More

My kids love to go to the "jam" store and try all of the samples. We always go home with some new jams and fudge!
