If you can brave the extremely narrow lanes to get here, you will not be disappointed. This is a quaint medieval church in an equally quaint village which has probably changed little over time.

Agree with all previous comments. If you are in this area and find or can arrange for the Quethiock parish church to be open then do take a look. A walk around the compact church yard is also worth it.

My grandparents lived in the village for most of the twentieth century. They were Methodist and disinclined to visit this church but my father took me round to see my great uncle's war grave. We were lucky to see inside the church. Even better than the few photographs at the top of this listing.

Came here forty years ago as a child when family loved here. Remember being shown around both the very simple Methodist chapel and then the parish church. At that time the village seemed completely unspoilt and largely self contained. I have only a feint memory of the church but recall a dusty mustiness with a hint of what I know... More

I agree with last reviewer. We went to a service rather than simply a sightseeing visit. I also think that the ceiling panels are re-reformation rather than pre-restoration, but only because we were told. This may only be a small intimate village church, well off the beaten track, but it is a very effective reminder of the social and religious... More

Lovely little village with an atmospheric historic parish church with amazing pre-restoration ceiling panels, exceptional bosses and best quality memorial floor brasses. Country churchyard and idyllic setting. Don't miss it. Check the website at the head of this listing.
