Regular car ferry from Plymouth to Torpoint. Made visiting HMS Raleigh simple, and all for a ridiculous low price of £1.50 return.

Quick, easy and comfortable (no waves) - we only waited five minutes before setting off. Interesting that there are refreshment and other facilities on board for a 10-minute crossing...

A quick and easy way to cross the river. You only pay one way £1.50. It takes about 10 mins to cross. We used it a number of times during our weeks stay and never had to wait. Loaded on and off very speedily.

We so need this service and it's cheap and runs pretty well most of the time. Some of the staff can be a bit grumpy but the newer ones are more friendly.
