Walk from Cremyll through Mount Edgcumbe Country Park along Plymouth sound, through the woods which is the costal path to Kingsand. Mount Edgecumbe gardens are worth visiting on the way and there are loads of picnic spots.

About 4 miles each way, but what a walk it is, beautiful views over Plymouth sound and the breakwater and drake's island. walk through the grounds of mount edgcumbe through the daffodils and camelias, past the duck pond, up to the folly then down in to the woods. Plenty of places to stop for a picnic. Carrying on walking past... More

This is the forgotten corner of Cornwall and full of lovely walks with pubs at Kingsand to refresh you at the end of the walk or in Summer a swim in the sea.

Started this walk in Cawsand at around 11.30,had lunch at The Edgecombe Arms at Cremyll & then back to Cawsand by 15.50. A moderate walk with Spectacular views of Plymouth, Plymouth sound & beyond. Suitable for dogs, who only need to be on a lead for short sections.

Beautiful scenery with views of the coast along the way, walking through tunnels of trees in parts. Not particularly challenging; at the end you have a few options at Cremyll; you can take the bus back or you can take the ferry across to Plymouth and you could even take the boat from Plymouth back all the way to Kingsand.

But take water and walking boots best, not trainers. Dumped the car at Cremyll car park, took the hourly bus back to Crawsands (4 adults and 2 teenagers £6.20 total ticket cost), then walked the lovely walk. Stopped opposite Drakes Island for picnic. Great memories.

We have walked this route at all seasons and always enjoy it. The bus ride from Plymouth to Cawsand and Kingsand takes approximately an hour. Footpath in opposite direction can take a little locating in Kingsand. The walk has wonderful views of Plymouth Sound, beaches and also goes through woodland. Following a recent landslip the diverted path is a little... More

I make this walk very regularly especially if I want to de-stress. It's about 3.6 miles and can be a little bit of effort if you try to rush it. There is one area in particular where you are detoured around a land slide which can prove a little challenging if you're a little unfit. However, the effort is well... More
