We saw byron bay cape on a building programm and we defenitely wanted to visit there to view the magnificent houses. But from the road most of the houses are out of view. So we decided to drive to the light house and visit it. But when we arrived at the parking it was completely full. So we decided that... More

Brilliant walk up to view the cape. Definitely a must do when in Byron. Beautiful views and even saw a few whales thought I think we were about late in the season.

Drove up here but sadly, unable to find a carpark (there's a carparking attendant and he politely told us we needed to keep driving) but our next visit, we'll definitely factor this in. Views are spectacular and we can only imagine the history within the lighthouse itself and the accommodation house that is open to the public. A must-see -... More

Have been here couple of times and it has not disappointed. One of the most picturesque places. Gives a brilliant view of the ocean and the beach. There is a little cafe at the lighthouse - perfect place for coffee.

We took a drive up to the lighthouse. It's a beautiful view and the cafe has great seating to watch the early morning surfers, kayakers etc It was a little disappointing that there wasn't more historical information available but it is a great place for sight seeing

Beautiful walk which takes you last the most eastern point of Australia! A bit of work out though! Bring enough drinking water on hot days!

Lovely walk up to the lighthouse. Easy for all i would say. Not strenuous or difficult. Beautiful views up top. I walked the beach way back to the main town. Just stunning and would recommend to all. Be sure to take some water !

I walked from town centre yesterday approximately 6km round trip. There are gorgeous views along the way but the reward is on arrival at lighthouse. Magnificent views from Australia's most easterly point. There is a cafe & the lighthouse keepers cottage to view with associated history. You can drive to top - paid parking & in busy times it does... More
