My wife and I spent the weekend at Pymatuning State Park. We camped at the Jamestown campground. We took our Aussie (dog), and stayed in the "pet area"...sites 201-252. Our site was one of 14 sites that had water, electric, and sewer. Our site was #247. It was level, as I had minor correctio left and and right ( to... More

Been going there since I was as a kid. Love feeding the fish and the ducks. The carp are huge! Kids of all ages will enjoy It! Very nice to pack a picnic and enjoy the day here.

The park is beautiful. The cabin was very nice, but I did have an issue with the cobwebs and spiders. The cabin was a 3 bedroom with full bath. The non resident price for a week was good. Rented a pontoon in the park but horsepower way too low. I say that because we had a storm coming and was... More

Just a wonderful place in every season to enjoy the outdoors. The lake in summer is one of the few places besides Lake Er Actually I hope it stays a secret!

We enjoyed the park and the area, but the cabin we rented, while it had a really nice layout and location, was full of cobwebs, spiders and worst of all, smelled like a smoker had lived there for decades. Not pleasant.

This was my first visit to the lake, our motorcycle club had a ride to it today and I enjoyed feeding the fish and ducks, The bread they sell is very reasonable. One of the ladies in the group was going to buy five bucks worth of bread, but couldn't carry it all so she stopped at three. We took... More

I have been coming here for years. Fishing used to be good here but this year has been a bust. We can't turn the boat into a recreation boat to tow kids around due to the restrictions on towing. The horsepower limits on pontoon boats is too low. I am moving to Erie.

This park is the perfect get-a-way for someone in need of rest and relaxation. There are a couple of nice beaches with areas for swimming. The lake offers all types of water activities and the campgrounds offer lots of quiet spots to kick back and relax. Be sure and check out the spillway where the ducks walk on the fish.

Lived about a mile off Pymatuning lake for 20 years, graduated high school from Jamestown H.S. It's a very nice area, 2 beaches for the summer and lots of trails for hiking and riding in the winter. There are a couple of decent restaurants in Jamestown to eat at but the best, in my opinion, is called The 215, for... More

This a great state park where the ducks walk on the fish. Must see the spillway an you must feed bread to the Carp. You will not see anything like this anywhere! Also, visit the fish and game commission facility where they breed fish for the lake. Another great sight at Pymatuning State Park is the Bald Eagle. There are... More
