Clear warm water protected by the coral reef makes it a perfect place for snorkeling. A large variety of fish and some turtles call the laggon "home"

Glorious, variegated blues, chock full of corals, colourful fish and turtles. Ideal for swimming, snorkelling and canoeing. Dotted along the foreshore with thoughtfully placed seating, encouraging breathtaking stop off points to soak in this visual stunner.

What an amazing beach. When the wind is blowing from the other side of the Island this is a sheltered beach that is like a giant swimming pool with the most amazing view! A great place to swim or relax. Safe for kids.

Interested to know if folk who have swam at LHI in May/June found the water a bit chilly - or was it ok swimming & snorkelling in normal bathers??

Hey we have been there in February, September and October and the water os very nice. I'm pretty sure LHI has a consistent temperature throughout the year. So i can't answer fully sorry. Hope you enjoy your holiday.

Is it this beach where you can see turtles in the water? Or do you have to go out in the glass bottom boat to snorkel to see them? What is the best way to ensure I see turtles swimming?
