Welcome travellers!! Are you looking for a holiday adventure with awesome people, great food and a stunningly beautiful place to stay? Come and join us as a WWOOFer at the Krishna Farm New Govardhana in Murwillumbah!WWOOFers (willing workers on organic farms) work for 5hrs/day on 6 days/week in return for free accommodation and meals. After work, you can enjoy the beauty of our farm, hike Mount Warning, drive to Tweed Heads or Byron Bay for a surf or swim in the river that crosses our farm. We are one of the biggest WWOOFing hosts in Australia, so you will meet 40-50 awesome people, connect and probably continue your journey with new friends!Need a second year visa to extend your Australian adventure? Many of our WWOOFers stay for 2-3 months to get the necessary hours, just get in touch and let us know!Don't want to work but need a room to stay? Not a problem - get in touch and rent one of our rooms at an affordable rate!

Women and men had to sit on opposite sides of the room, which already for me was kind of ridiculous. To enter the temple/eating hall they have different rules for men... More

We experienced true Hare Krishna life in both the way we were met on site, the accommodation and the food. The food is different and it is served in a communal way ... an experience for all the family

Gorgeous Hare Krishna community farm offering retreat stays, vegetarian food and a legendary Sunday afternoon feast and kirtan at the temple. A divine spiritual stop off and sweet space to rest, recharge, say hi to the deities in the temple and enjoy some delicious pure vegetarian food.

The small cabin we stayed in was and extremely clean, rustic and welcoming space. It had everything we needed for our two day stay. A small double but very comfortable bed, a small clean and useable kitchenette, which we didn't use at all as all the tasty and generous vegetarian meals were included in the small overnight stay fee!
